U.S. Custom and Border Protection at CHS
Charleston International Airport houses U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility. The CBP aims to check and monitor arriving travelers. CBP agents screen the legal documents, immigration statements, Real I.D.s, Federal Identification, Visa, passport, and other accepted documentation, before allowing the passenger to cross the border of the United States.
CHS Baggage Claim and Meeting Points
Arriving passengers should use the signs heading the exit lane in the Central Marketplace, then walk along the automated security door, enter the Arrivals Hall, with a short walking distance to the baggage claim and customs check. Passengers should follow the designated signs to get to the Meeting points or exit.
